In Wantagh, New York, Blue has been waiting at the shelter for 900 days; he promises love and lots of licks for the lucky person who adopts him. Sadly, that has not happened, and this lonely pup needs the help of social media to share his story.
This four-year-old quiet kind of pooch is described by volunteers as a sweet, gentle boy who is house/crate trained and loves long walks. He is great on the leash and as an extra bonus, Blue will dazzle you with his knowledge of such commands as “sit, down, come and paw.”
Admittedly, it takes a bit for Blue to become comfortable with new people, so it is recommended he be adopted in a one or two adult home – he also might do well with another dog in the household about his size (Blue weighs 60-pounds.)
“So…what the heck are you waiting for…Please come on down to the shelter, Fall in Love and Take me home.”
