Investigation – who shot cat with arrow?

Officials in Kershaw County, South Carolina, are hoping to find whoever is responsible for a heinous act of animal cruelty inflicted on a cat. On Wednesday, the Kershaw County Humane Society reached out to the public about a cat who was impaled with an arrow, writing:

We need your help Kershaw County, SC citizens. Earlier today Animal Control responded to a call on Love Road in Kershaw and found this poor soul.

According to the animal welfare agency, the injured cat was taken to a veterinary partner and the arrow was removed. The cat has been taken in by a rescue agency.

Information needed

The shelter is hoping to find the person behind the cruel act, writing:

If you know anything please contact us at 803-425-6016 or Animal Vontrol at 803-425-6017. We cannot allow acts like this to go unpunished.
