Injured puppy given 48 hours to live – help needed before it’s too late

An injured puppy, just nine months of age, has been given just 48 hours to live at a busy Texas animal control agency. On Monday, the Facebook page Focus on Furever, writes of the pup’s dire situation at Corpus Christi Animal Services:

FROM CCACS: We are in need of an immediate rescue for Florence, due to her injuries she has been given 48 HOURS for a rescue to tag. She is able to leave right away if she is tagged.

With details of her injuries:

She was brought in by one of our animal care officers over the weekend and appears to have an open wound on her rear right leg and has several scar (small/big) throughout her body, hair loss on tail and wounds. She was assessed at Oso Creek Animal Hospital where they administered her pain medication but she still needs to be assessed by our clinic staff.

Please network this puppy’s information. Any rescue agency’s able to assist are asked to reference Florence and send an email to: ccacsrescues@cctexas.com
