Hugging dog’s hopeful adoption fell through and it wasn’t his fault

In Union Springs, Alabama, social media nearly did it again – Speck had a hopeful adoption after having been at the Bullock County Humane Society since October 2018, but unforeseen circumstances due to COVID-19 foiled the plans.

Speck loves to hold out his paw for a hug; he was not to blame for the adoption falling through – human error. He is healthy and ready for a new home.

Speck’s advocate, Desiray Miracle-Wilder posted a heartwarming video of Speck asking for help finding the three-year-old collie mix a home. It almost worked.

His really hard to pass by while cleaning. He literally just wants you to hold his hand. He is going to make a wonderful pet to someone <3 Speck has been in the shelter since 10/18/2018 and is still looking for a forever home. He is kid friendly, UTD on shots, neutered, and heartworm negitive.Bullock Counry Humane Society in Union Springs, AL 334-738-7387 or you can message me personally if interested in one of our fur babies Edited to add:I had just got done playing in the yard with him and he didn't want me to leave. We do play and love on all 45 of them. And I would take him home but we already have 2 big dogs, 7 chickens, 1 cameleon, 4 cats, and 20 foster cats. I can't take them all home 🙁
