A horrific car accident in Idaho claimed the life of a woman who founded a rescue group, her boyfriend, and 15 dogs. On Friday afternoon, the MCACC West Adoptable Dogs Facebook page broke the tragic news to followers:

Heartbreaking news 💔

Ann Watson, the founder of Who Saved Who Rescue, and her long time boyfriend Chris, were killed along with 15 transport dogs in an automobile accident in Idaho early this morning. They leave behind two young children.

This is a huge loss to the animal community, Ann saved many new hope and, E-listed dogs.

The non-profit rescue group, Who Saved Who, confirmed the news writing:

With heavy hearts, our family regrets to inform everyone of the passing of Ann Watson- the founder of this rescue, she succumbed to her injuries resulting from a car accident while rescuing dogs. We ask that you please give the family some privacy and time to grieve.

According to East Idaho News, 18 animals survived and over a dozen are unaccounted for. The authorities searched the area and has advised area residents to contact Bingham County Animal Control if they find a stray animal in the area.

  1. Again, someone who has done so much good loses their lives when they are needed so much here on earth. Prayers for their families, and prayers the lost dogs are found safe and sound.
