A handsome dog in Del Norte County, California, is desperately in need of a home. The dog, named Lucky, has been without a family of his own for 1068 days!
On July 1, the Dogs of Del Norte Facebook page created a post on Lucky’s behalf, writing:
THREE YEARS = 36 months = 1,068 days🚨
Lucky arrived at our shelter on July 27th, 2017 🥺
Meet lovable Lucky who has been alone at our shelter and patiently waiting 3 years to find his furrever home. Lucky is a beautiful bully blend with a short and soft grey brindle coat.
Lucky is blind in one eye and he is described as:
The silent, strong and resilient type, once you’ve won Lucky’s heart he is the most loyal and loving companion. He functions very well once he adapts to his human/s and environment.
Facts of importance:
Dont let the grey face fool you we estimate this handsome boy to be roughly 4 to 5 years young.
🐕🦺 Walks well on a leash, knows how to sit and takes treats like a gentleman.
✅ UTD on vaccines, shots and is neutered.

The shelter writes:
He doesn’t appear to be very reactive to other female dogs at our shelter and has even taken a liking to a few of the females around our facility. He does tend to react to some of our male dogs. He could POSSIBLY be okay with another dog (preferably female) if they gave him his space. He has been alone at our shelter for 3 years and likes his space. We are open for meet and greets!
