‘Grinch’ just arrived at the shelter and we all want to cry

At the Palm Valley Animal Society in Edinburg, Texas, “Grinch” just arrived at the shelter on Wednesday evening. He has a severe skin condition and a green eye discharge. How could anyone let this poor boy get in such terrible condition?

The shelter does not have a working microscope  to confirm either sarcoptic or demodectic mange; the poor pup is missing most of his coat and appears to be very itchy.  (Sarcoptic mange may be spread to humans.) Grinch is now being treated with Nexgard, antibiotics and swabbed for distemper.

The shelter is asking for an approved rescue that can provide the medical care this poor puppy needs.
