This week, animal control in Trenton, New Jersey, found a badly neglected, abandoned dog dumped at a park. The emaciated dog, described as “incredibly gentle,” has been dubbed Caddy and he has been taken under the wing of the Trenton Animals Rock non-profit organization.
The agency writes:
URGENT HELP NEEDED ‼️ CADDY WAS DUMPED IN A PARK.
This incredibly gentle young boy was found by Trenton Animal Control this morning after being dumped in a park. He is emaciated, very sick and looks totally defeated. To be transparent, his prognosis is very poor. BUT WE ARE NOT GIVING UP.
Caddy deserves a chance. Caddy deserves to know love and care and joy.
An update reveals Caddy’s dire condition:
UPDATE 10/16 8am: Caddy now has a feeding tube. Please keep giving and praying! An update is coming later this morning!
UPDATE 10/15 8pm: CADDY IS RECEIVING A BLOOD TRANSFUSION NOW.
