Frightened dog, surrendered by owner, on list to be euthanized

12/1 Update: Precious is safe with HASH (Houston Animal Super Heroes) team members! We got her in boarding and will need pledges to help with her boarding. She was not scared at all and was just happy to get the heck out of the shelter. She is looking for a 3 week foster before she transports. Please let us know if you’re interested thank you. A surrendered dog, frightened and shut down, is scheduled to be euthanized at an animal control agency in Houston, Texas. Hours ago, a plea for Precious was posted to the Rescues United 361 Network Facebook group:

Please someone save me. They are going to kill me today. I have done nothing wrong. Please help me. I don’t want to die in this shelter. Please save me

RESCUE ONLY! Precious was turned in on 11/17 by her owner, along with another dog, because they could no longer afford to care for them. The other dog was adopted, but Precious is still in need. She is very anxious and doesn’t show much interest in interacting with staff. She needs to leave the shelter and decompress.
