In the Riverland region of South Australia, an investigation is underway after six kelpie puppies were found at a truck stop trapped inside of two ziplock dog food bags that had been wired shut and covered with trash.

According to 9News, a Good Samaritan heard the puppies crying and discovered them.

“They were underneath the bin – I’m going to cry – underneath the bin in a bag and it’s just awful,” stated Nicole Olsen who found the litter of eight helpless puppies.

Nicole and her young daughter wrapped the puppies up in towels and tried to resuscitate two of the little ones covered in fleas and dehydrated while rushing them to a veterinarian.

Those two puppies did not survive; the RSPCA Chief Inspector Andrea Lewis stated is was one of the worst cases of animal cruelty she had ever seen.

It is hoped that the six surviving puppies can be adopted when they are feeling better and old enough. It seems Nicole Olsen might very well be thinking of making one of these little ones her own.

  1. So happy these precious little treasures were rescued!!!

I hope they all fully recover from their ordeal and are adopted (when they are old enough) into loving furever families who will treat them as beloved family members!!!

As for the POS who abandoned them, they will burn in Hell forever for their cruelty.

So sorry for the two precious little treasures who didn’t survive. Poor precious little treasures never had a chance to live, love and be loved……. I know you are absolutely in Heaven. Please look for MacKitty and join his wonderful snuggle buddies group and RIP amongst loving friends.
