A fire that ripped through an Orlando, Florida, house has claimed the lives of 19 dogs and puppies. As reported by ClickOrlando, the blaze broke out early Thursday at the lakefront home of a dog breeder.

The deadly fire destroyed Marcia Mobley’s Bay Lake Road home – the cause of the blaze is currently unknown, but Mobley tells the news agency that she is in shock over what happened, and heartbroken about the 19 dogs and puppies who perished.

Mobley breeds Labradoodles, and she told Click Orlando that there were 26 at her home when the fire broke out. The surviving dogs and puppies were taken to an area veterinary hospital to be examined.
