A father and son in Washington County, Alabama, are dead following a shootout which started over a dispute involving the family’s dogs. As reported by Fox 10 News, the Coker family had a long history of violent clashes.
The fatal incident on Saturday night began when 32-year-old Kelvin Nicholas Coker shot and killed two dogs – one of whom belonged to his dad, Kelvin James Coker. Kelvin Nicholas allegedly shot the two dogs because they were “messing with” his girlfriend’s child.
Blake Richardson, with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, recounted the alleged statement from a family member:
His brother said dad is going to be upset that you killed his dog and Nicholas allegedly pointed the shotgun at his brother and using choice language more or less told him to get off his property or he would kill him.
Shortly thereafter, Kelvin James arrived at his son’s home. According to the news agency, Kelvin James fired at his son, striking him in the torso, and Kelvin Nicholas returned fire with his shotgun, killing his dad.
The domestic violence in the family had been happening for years and the authorities had been at the property a week prior to the double shooting.

And the few good people in Alabama must be pretty weak to tolerate ALL the abuse, rapes, beatings, and murders that happen in this demon spawned state on a WEEKLY basis. Just look at public reporting, almost weekly there is an EGREGIOUS display of violence by vile thugs allowed to roam the state and continue with their mission of “seek and destroy all that disagree with THEIR beliefs”.
