*UPDATE – RESCUED BY A Purposeful Rescue

The day after Valentine’s, an elderly, visually impaired Labrador retriever lost his family and his home. The 13-year-old dog, named Buster, is now in the medical department of the East Valley Shelter in Van Nuys, California.

Buster’s advocate writes:

13 yo neutered grandpa 62lbs. Owner surrendered to the shelter a few days ago. He is visually impaired and has a wart like mass on his forehead. Also being treated for an ear infection. He’s back in the medical department receiving extra care and could really use some help being seen.

Without a doubt, this old boy is confused, and more than likely heartbroken right now. Everything that he once knew and loved is gone. Please take a moment to network his adoption information and help find him a safe place to live for what remains of his life.
