Days ago, a good Samaritan found a dying puppy who had been abandoned in a trash bag alongside a road in Cincinnati, Ohio. Earlier this week, Cincinnati Animal Care wrote:

Rio is a 6 month old puppy who was found on the side of the road in a garbage bag and near death from parvo. A good samaritan brought him to Cincinnati Animal CARE, where our team performed emergency triage to keep him alive and stable long enough to receive care from our veterinary partners. He is showing signs of improvement, but his medical bills are going up quick.

As reported by Fox 19 News, Rio was critically ill when he was first found. Amanda Taylor, the Medical Director at Cincinnati Animal Care, said:

“He was literally very close to death.”

Parvo is a deadly virus that impacts a dogs’ gastrointestinal tract. The disease is highly contagious and difficult to survive. A fundraiser has been started to help cover the staggering veterinary bills that are mounting to save Rio’s life. Click here to find the fundraiser.

I pray that God and ALL the powers that BE of this Universe, inspire and give COURAGE to whomever KNOWS the identity of this VILE THUG that apparently takes great delight in neglecting an innocent animal to this extent and THEN DUMPS them to not ONLY DIE a VERY painful death, but egregiously put them in the trash to be ALONE and COLD. AND THIS PERSON IS RUNNING LOOSE IN SOMEONE’S NEIGHBORHOOD, enjoying their deep seated evil.
