The Mahoning County dog warden is hoping to find the owner of a black puppy who was thrown from a moving car in Youngstown, Ohio. The Facebook page for the dog warden issued a plea to the public about the cruelty case earlier this week, writing:

Someone witnessed this pup being thrown from a car near Idora and Glenwood Ave on Youngstown’s South Side today. He reported license plate and description of car to YPD.

On stray hold in case this pup was stolen or found and dumped.

The puppy’s stray hold ended on Wednesday and the shelter indicated that dozens of adoption applications had been received as of Saturday. The agency writes:

NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME❗️

AS OF SATURDAY MORNING WE HAVE 70 + APPLICATIONS.
