One completely adorable dog, who had been missing for three weeks from her home in Dothan, Alabama, showed up at her owner’s place of work late last week – and during her owner’s shift too! The miraculous story has gone viral – and in the happiest way. Attention Walmart shoppers!
On November 8, June Roundtree couldn’t find her four-year-old rescue pup named Abby after the dog slipped out of her leash and collar. Roundtree and her husband searched the neighborhood and asked everyone around, yet no one had seen the couple’s beloved dog.
And so we fast forward a few weeks…
Another Walmart employee, Danielle Robinette told the story on Facebook:
“Ok y’all so I work at Walmart at the service desk and today the most amazing thing happened! I looked up and seen this black dog go running by she was looking at everyone like she was looking for someone I first thought she was dumped and she was looking for her people! Well she was!! She ran right up too Mrs June one of the cashiers she was so happy and started crying saying she had been missing for 3 weeks!! Her name is Abby! I tell you what Abby is one smart girl she came to her mommies work to find her!! I’m so glad she found you Mrs June!! Such a wonderful story I just had to share with everyone

At first, Roundtree couldn’t believe it was really Abby and the dog found her way to her, but the moment she called “Abby” and the dog came running, she knew it was true. Abby and her mom gave each other kisses and hugs, and there is no question that love conquers a lot of the unknowns.
Welcome home Abby, and we are so happy for your mom and dad.
