Dog lovers outraged at dog’s name on Petharbor, ‘Dipshit’

Two days ago, a Petharbor listing for a senior dog at the Chula Vista Animal Care Facility in California sparked ire among dog lovers. The 10-year-old dog’s name on the listing showed “Dipshit.” Was this the name provided by a prior owner? Or was it someone at the facility who thought it was funny?

Because of the offensive name, efforts to find the dog a home began in earnest. By today, the troubling name is gone and in its place is simply, ” DOG – ID#A220278.”

Regardless of the reason for the thoughtless name, ID#A220278 needs a helping hand to find a new, loving home. You can give him the help that he needs by sharing his adoption information.
