Dog has been waiting 1250 days for a family to choose him

A dog has been patiently waiting 1250 days for a family to choose him. The dog, a six-year-old pooch named Bowie, is with Gateway Pet Guardians, and according to KSDK News, he was originally adopted as a puppy, but returned two years later.

The handsome boy has been lucky enough to spend time in a foster home, but not lucky enough to be chosen to be someone’s forever pet. Brittany Fleming, placement manager, said:

“We need help from the public to help find this guy a home. He’s a great dog who is very well trained and just needs someone to give him a chance.”

Bowie’s adoption fee is covered – he just needs to find someone who has room in their home and heart for a lovable, well-trained dog who has waited a very long time to be noticed.

The shelter has stated that Bowie would be best suited as the only pet in the household. He is located in St. Louis, IL. Find out more about this handsome boy here.
