A disturbing video on social media of a baby calf being pulled from the trunk of a vehicle and then cruelly tossed off of a bridge has led to the arrest of a man charged with alleged animal cruelty. According to the animal advocacy group 30 Million Friends Foundation, the incident occurred on the Kapiti bridge a year ago, but a suspect has only recently been arrested.
The video showed a man opening the trunk of a white Citroen, and there curled up in a ball, likely paralyzed with fear, a newborn calf is pulled out. The man then pulls the defenseless animal out and tosses it over the bridge while another person videos the act. A third person is visible inside of the vehicle.
What makes the act even more despicable is no one in the video seems affected by the cruel act. An investigation was opened by the Haute-Corse gendarmerie (police) after thousands of social media users demanded justice for the defenseless calf. Allegedly the suspect stated the calf had been injured after having been hit on the road and the person wanted to “get rid of it.”
If found guilty of animal cruelty and abuse, the suspect could be sentenced up to two years in prison and a fine of $33,000.

My assumption is the poor calf died after being tossed off the bridge. I did hear the thrower exclaim “Merde” (“shit” en anglaise), but it is not clear what went wrong……
In any case, if the calf died, I think these POSs deserve to be locked up for a very long time (they have reserved spots in Hell waiting for them, where they will burn forever for their cruelty)…… they can’t get to Hell fast enough!!!!!!!
