An undercover video captured the moment a despicable farmer was punching an innocent sheep in the face while screaming expletives at the animal. As reported by Edinburgh News, the vile display of cruelty led to criminal charges against William Martin Brown.

In the undercover video, obtained by an undercover People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) officer, Brown can be seen punching and kicking sheep while yelling, “Come on ya f*****g c**t” and “f*****g b******s.” After the incident was brought to the attention of the Scottish SPCA, Brown pleaded guilty.

Unfortunately, the guilty plea did not result in jail time, merely a a £550 fine. Scottish SPCA chief inspector John Chisholm stated:

We are disappointed that Brown wasn’t banned from owning or working with animals but we hope this will serve as a warning that this behaviour is unacceptable and we will fully investigate any reports of cruelty towards livestock.

“We would welcome the opportunity to discuss welfare practice with the wider industry.”

  1. More proof that wool is cruel and bad for animals. There are plenty of nonviolent materials to stay warm in all winter that don’t hurt animals.
