Deadline for kittens in just a few short hours: Rescue help needed in Texas

A litter of six kittens are scheduled to be euthanized on Wednesday in Nueces County, Texas. Their deadline grows near.

The abandoned litter are in need of immediate medical care for conjunctivitis. Any other medical conditions are currently unknown. Sadly, the shelter does have the resources to afford any veterinary care.

A volunteer posted the following:

“Nice if touched but feisty. Volunteers were able to handle them and cleaned their eyes. They were sweet after trust was built. Total of 6 – all being destroyed.”

The Nueces County, TX: Dogs in Need of Rescue  Facebook page has been sharing the plights of these little ones, and need more help. Please use social media to contact friends, family and approved rescue organizations. Pledges have been made and will be sent to an approved rescue to help with the veterinary expenses for the kittens.
