Day after day, sad boy waits inside of kennel run, but nobody comes to see him

Day after day, week after week, a sad boy waits by the gate of his lonely kennel run – hoping for someone to visit, but nobody comes. The young dog, named Henry, has been waiting for someone to save him from the City of Abilene, Texas, animal shelter since May.

Days ago, the Saving Abilene Animals Facebook page wrote:

Reposting beautiful Henry, the pleading in his eyes sums up 4 months of living in a kennel 24/7 waiting day after day for someone to notice you but every single day no one comes. Henry has been up every time I go visit, even in unbearable heat until today.

Can you imagine the heartache of sitting alone in a kennel run, waiting for someone to help you, but nobody arrives? Can you imagine the loneliness? The despair?
