Spread the love

An animal cruelty investigation is underway in Connecticut after two kittens were abandoned and one was killed. The Naugatuck Animal Control reached out to the public about the disturbing case, writing:

Today, 25 April 2020 – around 1130 – this kitten and another were dumped from an unknown – white vehicle – on Hunters Mountain Road.

The complainant witnessed this and saw TWO kittens dumped – and RAN ONE OVER while leaving. (Deceased😢😡)

Information requested

The animal control agency, and local authorities, are hoping that someone will have information to help assist with the cruelty investigation – the animal welfare agency writes:

We are asking anyone with information to contact Naugatuck Animal Control via our email account:
[email protected]

If you reside in that street, and have a camera pointed towards the roadway, please contact us at [email protected].

Update on surviving kitten

The surviving kitten has been transferred to an animal rescue group. The animal control agency requests that nobody call them to inquire about adopting the kitten because they need to keep their phone lines free.
