Cruel teen videos himself abusing the family cat

In Hildago, Texas, another disturbing video has gone viral.  A 14-year-old boy who calls himself Joe recorded himself abusing his cat. In this particular video, the teen throws the cat across the room towards the kitchen as the cat is painfully slammed against a table.

The teen can be seen picking up the cat by the scruff of its neck; the cat stiffening up in fear. The kid flings the cat across the room as the cat slams against the side table. A woman can be heard in the background yelling “hey.”

It has been reported there are eight cats in the home.

According to the Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation, the Hildago Police Department have been notified. ((956) 843-2737).

From the description of the video events (video has been disabled or deleted), it sounds like this teenager is very troubled…… 8 cats in one home is a lot (& it’s possible that all of them are getting this cruel treatment by this teenager). I think all the cats should be evaluated by a vet (& some or all of them rehomed).
    If that teenager was my kid, he would have severe consequences (including boarding school) for this horrible behavior…… Further, he is out of the house (& will) @ 18 as one of the consequences……. No way would my husband & I tolerate animal cruelty……. especially to a rescued animal…..
