A child helped facilitate the arrest of a man who allegedly tortured a small dog in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to 8 News Now, Daniel Arizmendi was arrested by Metro Police who viewed video of the man abusing the Yorkshire terrier in an apartment.
The video of the abuse was captured by an eight-year-old child, who sent it to her older sister – the older sister submitted the footage to the police. In the video, Arizmendi allegedly used a shock collar on the little dog, in addition to striking and strangling the pup – according to the news agency, the dog could be heard crying in the video.
Arizmendi was arrested on November 3 and he is facing two counts of felony animal torture.
