In Columbus, Ohio, Butterfinger is one of the saddest dogs at the Franklin County Shelter. The six-year-old male has been at the shelter for 154 days; no one has adopted him and on Friday, the shelter may have to make the hard decision to humanely euthanize him.

Check out his video:

“BUTTERFINGER is a Sweet, Loving Middle Ages boy who would love to have a FurEver Family. He is still very active for his age and loves walks and to run around and play!
He Loves his People but would do best in an Only Dog Home.
He’s becoming more reactive in the kennel environment with other dogs and needs to get into a home to decompress as soon as possible.”

The advocate for Butterfinger wants everyone to check out his photos where, while in foster care, he looked so happy and most likely thought he had found the loving home of his dreams. At this time he has no foster or home – his life will end in just a few days.
