Broken hearted senior cat left at shelter after her owner went to nursing home

The Genesee County Animal Shelter Dogs and Cats has a heartbreaking story to share about a 14-year-old cat recently brought to the shelter in Flint, Michigan. Sadly, Blessing’s best friend went to a nursing home; no one was able to help, and here she is – terrified at the shelter.

All her life, Blessing has been with one human and has only known love. Her owner left a touching message next to the cat as she was turned into the shelter hoping someone will adopt her and have a warm bed to curl up and enjoy the rest of her days.

Blessing is said to be good with other animals, but she needs a quiet home.

Please share Blessing’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
