Bonded shelter dogs are trying to console one another after being betrayed by their adoptive owners. The dogs, Sinatra and Trina, were adopted from the Miami Dade Animal Care facility in Florida 10 weeks ago – the dogs went to different homes and both wound up back at the original shelter after being betrayed by the people who had adopted them.
On Thursday morning, the non-profit, Pets Broward, shared their story on Facebook, writing:
Two strangers now bonded because of betrayal not once but twice……….💔
They came in to the shelter separately a month apart. It was love at first sight and they were bonded from that day on. Both were adopted from the shelter 10 weeks ago and both DUMPED back AGAIN TODAY 12/2. They share a commonality, betrayed by their humans. They comfort each other as unwanted dogs. Unlike their miserable humans they love each other unconditionally. Will they be failed again? Will this special bond be broken?

#TRINA #A1941635 is a 6 year old female brown American Bulldog.
