Bonded dogs need home or will go to a shelter and likely won’t get out

In southern Maryland, two bonded dogs need a new home this week or they will go to a shelter and likely will never leave from the front door. Sadly, dogs that are surrendered to shelters do not have any required “hold” time and can be euthanized shortly after they arrive.

Meet Angel and Dozer; they will be two-years-old this week and have spent their lives together in one home. The family says they need to re-home the two, although in order to save their lives, the dogs can be separated. Dozer is the gray brindle and is sweet with his sister Angel and the other two female dogs. (two Chihuahuas are also in the same home.) Dozer is too playful for cats and can be a “man shy,” but he does adjust.

As for Angel, she is a love and as sweet as can be.

“They are both altered. Although we have been told they could be placed separately, just look at these pictures,” posted Furever Safe, a non-profit rescue located in Hughesville, Maryland trying to help Angel and Dozer a loving home.

“We know this is going to be tough – but we believe in two things – miracles and heroes!”
