A bonded pair of 19-year-old Chinese Crested Hairless dogs were dropped off at a shelter in Ohio in a cardboard box on Wednesday when their former owners no longer wanted to care for them.

Thanks to Saints Elsewhere Pet Adoption in Northwood, Ohio, volunteers stepped in to prevent the two from euthanasia. Meet Charlotte and Chuck; the two love to bicker back and forth and have been reported to have little spats over who gets to burrow under their favorite blanket.

Chuck weighs three pounds, and Charlotte brings it in at four pounds. As the adorable seniors may be hard to place in a home, sharing their story on social media may very well be the solution. These tiny dogs, smaller than a cat want to be together, loved and comfortable cuddling together.

“We know there has to be someone out there willing to love on 2 sweet senior while they live out whatever time they may have left,” the rescue posted on their Facebook page along with the adorable photos of Chuck and Charlotte.

If interested, please call 419.691.0330 to meet the two. It is preferred Chuck and Charlotte stay together, so if you have double love in mind for these dogs who have spent their entire lives together, they you might be the home they want.

  1. If I were local I would take those 2 precious little treasures in a heartbeat!!! They would be loved and treated as beloved family members for as long a time that they both have left.

I sew, so blankets are not a problem!!! Neither is soft food or lots of love!!!
