The prayers of a blind man in Harvey, Illinois, were answered when his seeing eye dog, Lucca, was returned. The young German shepherd was stolen from Kevin Coachman’s yard on Tuesday and he launched a public plea to get the dog home.
Coachman shared the good news via Facebook on Saturday, writing:
To the young man teenager in Harvey they gave up his friends to return my dog Luca you are always in my prayers Lucca is home I’m overwhelmed with the love shown here on social media may God bless you all thank you thank you thank you
Coachman has indicated that he has not set up (or authorized) any fundraisers, but people who would like to donate to a reward fund for the young man who helped bring his dog home can do so by donating to PayPal. Learn more by visiting Coachman’s Facebook page here.
