A bedraggled stray dog, taken in at a busy California animal control agency in May, is in need of help to find a loving home. The seven-year-old terrier, named Girlie, is being held at the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Lancaster facility and she is ready for someone to come and get her.
On Wednesday, Girlie’s advocate wrote a plea for help:
This poor babe entered the shelter as a stray a few weeks ago. Heavily matted and covered in fox tails, some embedded. She’s been getting extra care in the medical department but now needs help being seen as the first few people on her list of adopters never came. She has one person remaining.
You can help this overlooked pup find a new home by taking a moment to share her adoption information! Find Girlie’s Petharbor link here.
For more information about this animal, call:
Los Angeles County Animal Control – Lancaster at (661) 940-4191
Ask for information about animal ID number A5367673
Note: All inquires about this dog must be made directly to the animal control agency. The Pet Rescue Report is NOT the point of contact. Petharbor will display the most current information about Girlie’s availability.
