UPDATE: As per the shelter:

“PARIS was officially ADOPTED today (Sunday) and is out of shelter. I believe I know who got her but I’m waiting an update from her. All I can say is that PARIS deserves the best, but remember she is not the only one at this shelter waiting for a hero to come. Check our other videos and pleas for other pets in need please, and if you want to ADOPT a new member, GO to your local shelter, they are many broken hearts like her, left behind by owners who take responsibility of own a pet like nothing important. We have many others waiting!…Please again, PARIS wants others to be saved as well. THANK YOU all of you for shared her, This page focus on save lives, pets homeless to end in good hands with new chance in life. We all can make a difference, fostering, adopting, sharing!!…Thank you all again.”

At the Harris County Animal Shelter, Paris is terrified. Whenever anyone goes by her shelter cage, she cringes with fear; nothing familiar remains in her life – no more familiar smells, no more familiar humans – no more of anything that once made her feel safe and loved.

Her family was moving, and no plans were made to include Paris. She was told to sit; she obeyed and then they walked away.

Paris, a four-year-old English cream Labrador retriever, barely moves.  Watch her video, and see how terrified she appears. Can one even imagine how she feels? After being in a house with her family, she thought she would be with them forever. Suddenly she is an overcrowded environment with strangers.

Paris weighs 56 pounds and tested negative for heartworms. Her ID#A550038. Contact the Harris County Animal Shelter located at 612 Canino Rd., Houston, Tx. Phone 281-999-3191.
