In Rustburg, Virginia, the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office continues the search for two missing dogs stolen from the animal shelter over the weekend. The people associated with the theft are still “at large.”

According to Sunday’s updated statement by the sheriff’s office, four dogs were stolen including a German shepherd who needs medical treatment for heartworms. Two of the dogs have since been found, however the German shepherd and a beagle are still missing.

The suspects, caught on video surveillance cameras from the shelter, are described as having slim builds and between 5’5″ and 6′ tall.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Campbell County Sheriff’s Office at 434.332.9574 or respond through Crime Stoppers at 888.798.5900.
