Meet Arno; he is an 11-year-old male Belgian Malinois and needs help out of the Miami-Dade Animal Services shelter. Everyone who has met him sings his praises.
“In spite of the neglect he’s suffered, just to see him makes you want to cry, he is so good, trusting, affectionate and sweet. And he still has a high ball drive! He would pick up a tennis ball and bring it to you to play fetch,” one of the shelter volunteers wrote on social media.

It was playtime and although Arno is wobbly on his hind legs, he went over and over again to play fetch.
Someone neglected this poor guy; he is underweight, his skin is a mess and his teeth need dental work. He has fleas that are falling off of him with the treatment prescribed, his coat is patchy and his skin is dry. He knows some commands, and he is a pleasure to be around.

Arno has been transferred to a kennel where he doesn’t have to go up or down steps.
