At the Riverside Animal Shelter in California, Bubby was adopted and returned. Sadly, he remains in the medical ward of the shelter. He needs help now:

“This poor old soul was adopted, but his adopters never came for him because they said he was sick. He is now back in the needs rescue building, with a terrible cough (video of coughing in comments). We can’t tell if it’s kennel cough or an underlying condition but what we do know is he needs out NOW! The only information we have on this boy is his identification number as he’s not listed on PetHarbor again yet. Please share for reputable rescue.”

  1. Why don’t you have a vet look at the dog when he first arrived? Every shelter I’ve seen or read about always take the rescues to a vet to get checked as soon as they arrive, why didn’t you?
