A 15-year-old Labrador retriever has been left homeless after his elderly owner was admitted to a nursing home. The senior dog, named Cub Bear, is with All About Animals Rescue in Macon, Georgia, which writes:

Cub Bear is 15 yrs old. Unfortunately, his owner had to enter a nursing home. A relative feeding him was hospitalized & can no longer help.
He has lost hearing and vision, but can see some. He is in his golden years and shouldn’t have be here. BUT he is because he was going to be euthanized yesterday if we couldn’t help him. Such a beautiful soul in him.

Someone committed to giving Cub Bear a home, but that adoption fell through and the rescue group has stated that he is still in need of somewhere to go. You can message the rescue group on Facebook if you have questions or are interested.
