A 14-year-old “quiet grandpa” finds himself homeless in the twilight of his life because his owner decided that he was “too old.” The elderly dog is at the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center in California, waiting to see if someone will come to save his life.

His advocate writes:

Little quiet grandpa surrendered for being ‘too old’. Finally set free to learn what it’s like to cherished and adored 🙌🏻💙 He is vision impaired, has severe dental tartar, overweight and a heart murmur, and medical reported he’s a friendly boy. Let’s get him SEEN so he can go live a great, pampered life now.

If you are interested in giving this old boy a loving home to spend the rest of his days in, please send an email to: [email protected]
or call: (626)962-3577

  1. Grandpa is welcome up here in Seattle!!!

I can’t believe how cruel some individuals are to family members…… Do they honestly think there is a long line of potential adopters for a medically fragile senior???

Grandpa deserves to be snuggled and loved for the rest of his life vs. euthanized alone, afraid and in pain at a shelter……
