At the Carson Animal Care Center in California, Zeda was surrendered by her family, and this senior mastiff may be dying. Her status is critical; she could be euthanized at any time by the shelter. Animal advocate and volunteer Sal Valdepena is hoping someone can provide her with hospice care.

“She needs a foster family who can give her love and yummy food. Who wants to help her leave this earth feeling comfort and love? It’s the most selfless act of human kindness,” Sal posted on his Facebook page.

#A5287475 My name is ZEDA and I’m an approximately 8 year old female Mastiff. I am not yet spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 6/7. I will be available on 6/11. You can visit me at my temporary home at CRECEIVING. My former family who owned me for had to give me up because they just weren’t up for the responsibility of a pet. But they said that…”

According to the latest update on Facebook, this precious treasure was saved and is getting much needed medical care.
I hope she has a wonderful furever family for the rest of her life (however long it is). May she know love and snuggles for as long as she lives!!!
