Young pregnant dog lost in the shuffle – she needs somewhere to have her pups

A young, pregnant dog is desperately in need of rescue from a busy Texas animal control agency. The dog, just a year of age, is being held at the City of Corpus Christi Animal Care facility and she seems to have been lost in the shuffle.

This mom-to-be has been dubbed Hope, and staff and volunteers note that she is exceptionally sweet – eager to soak up every ounce of attention that is paid to her. On Thursday, the volunteer-run Facebook page, Focus on Furever, writes:

RESCUE NEEDED
Sweetest girl. Found at construction of Harbor Bridge and brought in by a worker. She has been at the shelter for a couple of weeks and is getting lost in the shuffle.
Pregnant and needs a safe warm place to have her puppies Hope is the sweetest calmest most gentlest soul.
