A young, handsome dog has found himself locked away at a busy California animal shelter. The dog, dubbed Ronald, appears to be happy and healthy…but nobody seems to want him. Can a dog with little to no interest have any hope of ever leaving a shelter?
Ronald is completely unable to help himself out of this terrible situation – aside from offering up hopeful eyes and a gentle wag of his tail, he is destined to remain locked away behind bars like a criminal.
Saving this young dog
Ronald is just two years of age – in the prime of his life. But he is just another homeless dog…easy to overlook and ignore. Though people have left comments of “shared” on his social media post, nobody has said, “yes, I will save his life!”
Time is running out for Ronald – he has been locked away since mid-December and it doesn’t appear that anyone is coming to get him. You can lend Ronald a hand by networking his adoption information – somewhere out there is the one person who is capable of giving him the home that he deserves.

The miracle I pray for…
This beautiful precious boy needs a good photographic profile done including video of him outdoors at play. I know there are volunteer photographers who do this work for shelters, and every case such as this poor baby deserves the best chance.cit should be mandatory for a photographic profile for any dog who is difficult to rehome and, as usual, this precious boy appears to be a pit bull mix which in many cases automatically puts a black mark against their name. It’s so sad, as these dogs, like every other breed or mix, give and deserve to receive so much love. I even wonder if in some instances shelter staff become apathetic and throw up their hands “oh, just another pit bull to move on, not a chance”. I can understand to a degree, however, as I’ve already said every dog gives and deserves so much love. Their breed or mix is not their fault. Please people, give every dog a fair chance at a good life. Don’t just bypass the pit bulls, take a close look at how beautiful they are – inside and out.
What a beautiful boy. Looks like he belongs to someone as he is very well taken care of. Hope his family is looking for him and find him soon. He could have wandered a good distance a way from home and end up here. Families need to search shelters in the next neighborhoods, not just local areas. Hope this boy gets taken care of soon.
poor Ronald. looks like a nice dog. but folks need more info, does he get along with other dogs, cats, kids??
Please save him! He’s just a baby! It’s only been a few weeks! He deserves a chance!
If I only live closer.
So sad. Sharing and hoping
