Terrified and confused after being surrendered to shelter

A young dog, not quite two years of age, is terrified and confused at a busy Philadelphia animal control agency. The Cane Corso, named Shadow, found himself at the ACCT Philly facility because of his owner’s poor health.

An advocate for Shadow writes:

Shadow is a Cane Corso who is under two years old and unfortunately surrendered due to the owner’s hospitalization and health. You can tell he has no idea what just happened to him winding up at the shelter. According to his owner he’s good with kids (young and older), cats, and dogs.

Shadow appears to want affection, but he is so scared and confused that he doesn’t know what to do with himself. His advocate asks for everyone to share his Facebook post with the hopes that a reputable rescue group will be found, and Shadow saved.

You can find Shadow’s Facebook thread here.
