Years after being adopted from a busy, Los Angeles County Animal Care facility, a dog has been returned. Today, Snoop-E is a 12-year-old, blind senior. On Saturday morning, the Networking Now Facebook page wrote:

Snoop-E has been here before, except he was 11 yrs younger that time: just 7 months old. He’s surrounded by scary sounds, overwhelming scents, and the one sense that could provide him some solace in this uncertain place has left him: 35 lb Snoop-E cannot see. He is 12, neutered, and he cannot he forced to stay here any longer. BALDWIN PARK, CA

Imagine this old boy’s confusion and the difficulty he is encountering as he tries to maneuver around his unfamiliar kennel run. Consider his odds of being adopted this time around as an elderly, blind dog…his odds are slim.

Please help Snoop-E find a new family to love him. Networking this article will improve the odds of that happening.

  1. That poor, precious treasure…… my instinct is to want to snuggle him and reassure him that the world is “OK”……

Has anyone contacted Frosted Faces or No Paws Left Behind?

I don’t know who to contact at either group, just that they can (& often do) help with seniors and medically fragile cases…..

I hope a rescue group can save Snoop-E. He deserves to be treated as a beloved family member for however long a time he has left and not die in the shelter alone, afraid and (worst of all) unloved…….

WTF is wrong with people??? Most of us want our furbabies to be with us for as long as possible and we savor each and every day our precious treasures are with us……

This so called family who gave up Snoop-E has reserved places in Hell waiting where they will burn forever for their cruelty…… Do they really think there is a long line of potential adopters for an elderly, blind furbaby???

This morning I was unable to locate this furbaby’s listing. I wonder if he was euthanized??? Precious treasure I absolutely know that you are in Heaven. Please look for MacKitty and join his wonderful snuggle buddies group and RIP amongst loving friends……..

  2. It’s so sad, he has to be scared due to a totally new environment after 12 years, can’t imagine the inward fear he must carry within being blind & nothing familiar. My heart goes out to him. Praying someone comes for him soon to give him a caring safe loving forever home to enjoy which he so truly deserves.

  3. Bless his heart?.
We lost our 16 1/2 year old Red Heeler named Rusty a year ago this October. He was blind and diabetic… But never let that hold him back. I got him when he was only 5 weeks old (that’s another story). He was so smart and such a wonderful dog! I hope someone adopts him. I would if I didn’t rent and I could have another. ?????
I cannot even imagine giving our Rusty up at any point when he was alive! ?
