A Florida woman’s boyfriend didn’t like her dog so rather than finding him somewhere safe to go, she dumped the dog at a busy animal shelter in Miami. Not only was the Italian Mastiff Corso dumped, but the woman allegedly left staff with instructions to euthanize the dog who she had owned since he was just three months of age.
A public Facebook post explains:
A lady, from Redland, Fl, of course, called me asking 4 help, because her boyfriend didn’t like the dog.
I told her to give me a few days, to try to help THE DOG, not her. 🤬
Not even 10 minutes later she sent me his ID#.
🤬🤬 She just left him at MDAS, with instructions to euthanize him bc she couldn’t wait the 2 weeks the shelter asked for.
Shelter told owner that they didn’t have room for 2 weeks, so she said that just euthanize him bc she couldn’t take him back.
Shelter refused to put him down because they think he is a sweet dog. He hasn’t showed any aggression sign.
Now this dog is in urgent need of help. His identification number at the Miami-Dade Animal Services facility is 2064215.
Note: All inquiries about this dog must be directed to the animal services facility. The Pet Rescue Report is not the point of contact and does not accept funds for transport or rescue/adoption.
