At Carson Animal Care in California, a one-year-old West Highland terrier knew nothing about animal shelters. After all, what would a puppy as cute and as sweet as this little guy ever have to worry about his family abandoning him because they had no time.

Sadly, Snowball was surrendered to the shelter on Sunday, and he’s terrified:

“SNOWBALL was left at the Shelter by his busy family but he is terrified and confused and hiding under the bed…hopefully he will find a family that will love him forever and let him live INSIDE. Please SHARE, he’s adorable!”
