Update on senior German shepherd
Spread the love

On Wednesday, a desperate plea was issued on behalf of a homeless German shepherd named Rocky who was being held at the Los Angeles County (Downey) Animal Services facility. A rescue group has since stepped up to save Rocky and he is now in the care of Angels Bark Dog Rescue.

The organization updated Facebook followers about the senior dog on Thursday, in a message written from Rocky’s perspective:

Thank you for helping me.
My owners dumped me at the shelter four days ago.
I know I am old but I didnt mind being with them.
At the shelter volunteers helped me, they made special food for me and kept me alive.
My angel Lizz came late yesterday afternoon and drove me to my new life.
It was already late everything was closed so they took me a home that I have never been before.

Adding:

Nice lady gave me warm bath and bottle fed me , I felt so wonderful.
I even had a soft bed , I slept like a baby all night.
In morning I met few friendly dogs , we became friends right away.
Everybody has been so nice to me, I dont even know any of those people and dont know why they are helping me.
I heard a lot of people sending me money so I can get the best care from now on.
Foster mom told me , we are going to Malibu today, she said that’s the best hospital and they will help me.
Thanks to all my angels for showing me love and giving me so much already.
