It wasn’t a good day for an umpire, who at a Las Vegas Aviators game on on Tuesday, when fans stood up and booed their disapproval when he wouldn’t let the beloved bat dog do his job.

According to Finn the Bat Dog’s Facebook page, Finn has been running onto the field picking up bats since 2016. Crowds cheer the black Labrador retriever who just wags his tail in pure delight after each mission, but on Tuesday, Finn was rebuffed when the umpire snatched the bat of the mound and tossed it aside just as Finn ran over to it.

Finn, not taking it personally however, ran over to where the bat was tossed and retrieved it anyway!

Check out Finn doing his job.

Obviously the jerk isn’t an animal lover. That stupid umpire needs to realize the dog is a beloved mascot and us Las Vegas Aviator fans love the dog!!!!!
