A young dog, betrayed by her owners, is suffering the consequences of their irresponsible behavior. The dog is just a year of age and she is pregnant and homeless – her family failed to have her spayed, failed to prevent her from becoming pregnant, and then surrendered her to a busy Texas animal control agency.
The dog’s plight was shared by Focus on Furever on Thursday afternoon. The volunteer-run Facebook page writes:

Super sweet and shy girl just entered our shelter as an owner surrender. She is pregnant and we want to get her out as soon as we can so she may have her babies at a more comfortable place.
