In Las Vegas, a tiny Yorkshire terrier didn’t find his luck at a roulette table on Friday, but rather from a Good Samaritan who spotted the injured pup bleeding and wandering the streets in Las Vegas.
“He has puncture wounds, no evidence of HBC. He actually isn’t in that bad of shape grooming wise, nails were short and he needed a groom – no mats except the matting from his injuries – hair was long around the face and there was also evidence that it had been tied up like a little pony tail!,” rescuers announced.
According to Connor and Millie’s Dog Rescue, Titan underwent surgery on Friday afternoon and is expected to survive. Titan had wounds all over his face, and it is not known if he had been attacked by an animal or had been the victim of animal cruelty.
“Obviously whoever did this left him for dead,” stated Angela Campagna with the rescue organization.
And despite all that Titan has been through, volunteers say he is sweet and affectionate to everyone. Surely Titan will be absolutely adorable when all of his wounds heal and his coat grows back. Oh, what a pal he will make to some very lucky adopter.

Glad Titan was found and once healed will make someone a very lucky owner. He is so cute even with the cuts on his face/head. Who knows what happened, but glad he is on the mend.

From the description of his wounds, I think this furbaby was attacked by a bird of prey (picked up and dropped whilst the bird was trying to “perfect” its grip)……
This type of attack from birds of prey happens in my area (& also where I work). We have 2 raptor migrations a year (& these predators are “opportunistic”: house pets are especially vulnerable because they often don’t look up to watch for aerial attacks, like squirrels and chipmunks……. To us, a furbaby is a family member. To a predator, an easy kill for a meal of fresh meat)…….
I hope this little treasure makes a full recovery and finds a new furever home where he will be a beloved family member……
