St. Landry Parish Animal Control needs help finding homes for shelter dogs. Their end is near, and time is running out. Sadly, the dogs know their days are limited. They sleep more than they play. At one time, when they would rush to the front of their kennel cages with their tails wagging and eagerly greet anyone passing by, now all they do is look up with the saddest of faces.
St. Landry Parish Animal Control & Rescue has reduced the fees for adoption as low as possible. Community support is needed. This is an open intake shelter, and room is always needed for new dogs. Adoption fees have been reduced to $20.
The government funded organization has limited resources and are trying their best to help these pets find homes. Please look at their photos, share, and then share some more.

Puppy mill heartbreak
Other than providing a home-which unfortunately i cannot do, what else can we do? How many dogs are there? I’ll Share, and hope others will see and share!
What sad looking pups and would probably be a welcome addition to any family. With the proper introductions and training, these are dogs that will become your family member super fast. They are afraid, but with the right intros and help they will become parts of the families they go to. Shelters need to help potential adopters introduce they shelter dog into a family. If they have had these dogs for a while, what would another week or two of making sure these dogs succeed in their new homes.
Maybe th dogs can be sponsored. Also, I am sure donations would always help.
Poor babies! I will definitely pray for all of them and pledge! I hope people will come forward and start adopting these babies!! I feel so bad for all these beautiful pups! Come on folks!!
